I am trained as an LICSW therapist but offer both counseling and coaching. Therapy and coaching both foster growth but differ in focus: therapy treats mental health, heals trauma, reduces symptoms, and explores patterns using clinical interventions; coaching is future-focused, helping generally well clients set goals, clarify values, build skills, and create action plans with accountability and practical strategies. Key differences are treatment vs. goal attainment though techniques can overlap.

Now is the time to take advantage of my coaching program or therapy. When we speak in our initial consult, I will ask you questions and explain more about how we will work together. When we decide we are a good fit, we will set up a first time to meet and I will send you some simple forms to complete to save you time at our first session. Your time is valuable and my goal is to set you up with skills to practice right away to find the road to contentment.

No. While the majority of my clients are women, I welcome nonbinary individuals, too. As a cisgender woman, I am constantly learning and strive to create an accepting and safe place for people of all genders to thrive.
I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults as well as the military population to help with feeling calm in a world that expects so much from us. Age is just a number, whether you are younger or older, the style of coaching and therapy I practice can work for anyone who is motivated to change. If you resonate with me, I hope you reach out for a free consult to see if we are a good fit.

I am in network for therapy through Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Health commercial insurance plans. Insurance does not cover coaching. Coaching allows me to offer my skills to a wider audience beyond the state of RI. I am excited about being able to broaden my scope and reach more people to offer a more individualized experience.

If you do not think you can afford my full fee, don’t hesitate to contact me. I can offer receipts for reimbursement for out of network insurances.

I offer virtual visits for anywhere in the world. If you are in the state of RI, you have the potential to see me in my office or take advantage of a walk and talk. Walk and talk is the opportunity to be in nature while reaching your goals. Research is catching up with what we already know, that being outdoors and moving your body is healing to the mind, body, and spirit.
